SPPL’s Main assembly shop has multiple assembly lines so that on each assembly line , only one variant is assembled at a time.
The assembly lines are designed in such a way that the powdercoated components enter from one side and packed distribution box emerges from the other side of a assembly line.
Assembling is done using pneumatic hand held tools.
Quality tests like MCB Fitment test ( to ensure MCBs can be fitted properly ) , wire length test ( to ensure that the length of wire/cable supplied in cable kit are correct ) , Continuity test ( To ensure continuity between Earth Screw and Earth Link) , High Voltage Test are done.
